Specifically, the Extension scans the content of the active webpage to detect installed tracking tags (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google Ads) and displays this information locally in the extension popup.

2. Permissions

To function properly, the Extension may request the following permissions:

• activeTab – to access the currently active tab when you click the extension icon.
• scripting – to inject detection scripts into the active tab.
• host permissions (<all_urls>) – only if you choose to enable automatic scanning on all websites.

These permissions are used solely to detect and display tracking tags. No browsing data is stored or shared.

3. Data Sharing

The Extension does not share any data with third parties.

4. Data Storage

The Extension does not store any data. All detection happens locally in your browser memory and is discarded when you close the extension popup or navigate away.
